Getting started with Cryptonic

Everything you need to install, activate, and get running in under five minutes.

Install Cryptonic Pro

One-time setup — the loader installs a kernel driver that persists across reboots.

Run the EXE as Administrator and reboot once so the Cryptonic driver installs correctly. Every launch after that is instant.
01

Download the loader

Log into your dashboard, go to the Download panel, and grab the latest CryptonicPro.exe.

02

Run as Administrator

Right-click the EXE and choose Run as Administrator. Windows needs elevated rights to install the input driver.

03

Reboot once

Restart when prompted. This one reboot loads the driver into the kernel — it is only needed the first time.

04

Activate your key

Paste the license key from your dashboard into the loader window. It saves automatically — you will not need to enter it again.

License key format: CRPT-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX

First launch

What to expect after the reboot and how the loader behaves on every subsequent start.

  • Cryptonic auto-launches from the startup entry after Windows loads. If it doesn't appear, open the loader manually.
  • The loader performs a version check each time it opens and pulls the latest config automatically.
  • You have approximately 10 seconds after the loader opens before it closes itself — select your profile quickly.
  • If your antivirus flags the file, add an exclusion for the Cryptonic directory. The binary is clean; AV false-positives on kernel loaders are common.

Operator detection

If the recoil profile isn't matching your operator, run through this checklist before reaching out to support.

  • Keep Display HUD scaling at exactly 100% in Rainbow Six Siege settings.
  • Load from the Config tab — not Config Editor.
  • Open Globals and press Import Settings From Siege in the bottom-left corner to sync your in-game resolution and aspect ratio.
  • Make sure your aspect ratio in Cryptonic matches the one set inside Siege.

Common issues

Fast fixes for the errors you're most likely to see.

"Cryptonic driver not found"

The installer didn't complete correctly. Re-run the EXE as Administrator and reboot when prompted.

"HWID mismatch"

Your license is bound to different hardware. Submit an HWID reset from the dashboard if you swapped machines or replaced major components.

"License expired"

Your plan has ended. Purchase a new plan from the pricing page or directly from the dashboard to restore access.

"License key invalid"

Copy the key directly from the dashboard License panel. Double-check for extra spaces and confirm it starts with CRPT-.

Antivirus blocking the EXE

Kernel-level loaders commonly trigger AV heuristics. Add the Cryptonic folder as an exclusion in your antivirus settings, then re-run the installer.

Recoil not compensating

Check that Cryptonic is running (visible in tray), your operator is selected, and Display HUD is at 100%. Re-import settings from Siege if needed.

HWID reset

Request a reset if your license stops authenticating after hardware or Windows changes.

  • Each license is bound to one machine at a time via hardware fingerprint.
  • Replacing your motherboard, moving to a new PC, or installing Windows on a new drive will change your HWID.
  • Go to your dashboard → HWID Reset, enter the reason, and submit. Resets are reviewed manually and approved within 24 hours.
  • Providing a clear and honest reason (e.g. "new motherboard," "fresh Windows install") speeds up approval.
